Richard Clark joined the City Council in 2005. Richard was raised in Jacksonville. He and his wife, D'Atra Pruett, both graduated from Nease High School. He is a graduate of the University of Florida and is currently the President of Supreme Janitorial, a family owned janitorial service founded in 1973.
Richard has served in several professional leadership roles during his tenure with Supreme Janitorial. He served as the Board President of the International Facility Management Association. He also serves on the boards of River Garden and JaxCare, as well as being involved with the National Federation of Independent Businesses.
Richard is also proud to have served in several other capacities as a member of the Peyton Subcommittee Transition Team and the Small Business Committee for JEDC restructuring.
Richard is active the community serving on the Gator Bowl Committee, Assistant Chairman of Ecology for The TPC in 2004 and has been a supporter of Pine Castle.
Richard and Dee have one daughter, McKenzie (6) and one son, Keegan (5). The Clark family attends First Baptist Church of Jacksonville.
