City Council Begins Search for 2005 Robert O. Johnson "Good Government" Award Recipient

Thursday, March 10, 2005 Jacksonville, Fla.    

Council President Elaine Brown has established a Nominating Committee to begin reviewing nominations/applications from employees of the City of Jacksonville, its independent agencies and constitutional offices for the next recipient of the Robert O. Johnson Award.

To learn more about nominating criteria and review the application, please click on the City Council's page at www.coj.net and scroll down the navigator bar and click on the Robert O. Johnson "Good Government" Award. Employees must have worked with the city for at least ten year and be nominated by another employee. The deadline for application submission is by 5:00 p.m. May 13, 2005, at City Hall, 117 W. Duval Street, Suite 425, Jacksonville, Florida 32202.

The recipient will receive the award at the Installation Ceremony of Council Officers in late June 2005.
