Special Committee on Tackling the Storm Schedules
First Meeting To Gather Public Input

Council Member Art Shad, District 5, as Chair of the Special Committee on Tackling the Storm has scheduled the first of a series of meetings for January 19, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. His primary focus at this initial meeting will be to get the public's input on their storm-related experiences and opinions before, during and after the tornadoes and hurricanes faced by Northeast Florida, back-to-back in 2004.
Citizens that cannot attend this special committee meeting and would still like to give the committee their storm-related comments may either email them to councilcomments@coj.net or write to the Special Committee on Tackling the Storm at City Hall, 117 West Duval Street, Suite 425, Jacksonville, Florida 32202. For clarification, please be sure to write 'STORM' on your correspondence as the reference point or subject.

Please Note: The committee will hold a follow-up meeting to hear from City agencies on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in Council Chamber.
