Additionally, each vendor will be notified of all course offerings, training location, date, and time.
Training Providers
Vendors can receive training through trade/professional associations, training related to the vendor's trade and/or operating a business. Additional training can be obtained through the city's business partners – FCCJ, Small Business Center,UNF Small Business Development Center, and EWC. Please refer to the training schedules.
JSEB Responsibilities
All vendors are responsible for keeping track of their training. A certificate of completion or receipt can be used as proof. The JSEB Assessment Coordinator will work with vendors to ensure that each JSEB has enough points to obtain re-certification.
Continuing Education Options
Any vendor involved in a formal mentor/protégé program for the benefit of enhancing his/her company will be considered for continuing education credits. Such vendor will be required to submit proper documentation which will be reviewed and approved by the JSEB Assessment Coordinator.
JSEB CEU Completion Form
In an effort to effectively track the recertification credits, the EBO office has designed a completion form for your use. Information on workshops, seminars or other professional continuing education should be listed on the completion form. This form needs to be completed and submitted along with your recertification application yearly.
