The City of Jacksonville wants to help citizens interested in volunteering find a place to serve and contribute to their Jacksonville community. The City's Office of Volunteer Services organizes volunteers through JaxCorps, a partnership between citizens and city government.
Assistance NeededGet involved in City government by volunteering for City agencies such as Victim Services, Animal Care & Control, or in any of our other on-going opportunities. Volunteers are also needed to support City sponsored special events like the World of Nations & Florida/Georgia Weekend. Youth and adult volunteers are welcome, however youth under the age of 16 must volunteer with a parent or guardian.
Purpose
To offer opportunities for citizens to volunteer in City agencies which provide valuable services to our community while enhancing their lives and the lives of those they serve.
