The City of Jacksonville, in partnership with the Keep Jacksonville Beautiful Commission, will accept nominations from Feb. 1- April 15, 2008 for the third annual Keep Jacksonville Beautiful awards.  The awards showcase individuals, businesses, organizations and schools for taking strides to keep the city clean and green.

Applicants will be judged in three areas and should demonstrate outstanding and ongoing efforts in beautification, litter prevention, or litter cleanup in Jacksonville.  Awards will be presented at the Mayor’s Environmental Luncheon in June.

Nominees must complete an application and attach a summary of achievements and any supporting documentation.  Award applications may be downloaded at www.coj.net keywords Keep Jacksonville Beautiful.  An application may also be requested by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the address below.
