In May 2008, the City of Jacksonville began collection of two fees that will fund residential solid waste collection and stormwater management.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
- The 630-CITY phone line is experiencing higher than usual call volume. Please e-mail questions to 630CITY@coj.net or stormwater@coj.net
- Due to a processing error, some fee bills were mailed to owners of property as of 2008. New bills were mailed to current owners on Friday, June 19.
- The 2009 bills include charges for the entire 2009 calendar year, January through December. Payment is due by July 31.

- The 2009 bills will include any unpaid fees from 2008. Click here to learn more about Past Due Amounts.
- The 2009 fees are based on property data as of December 31, 2008. Generally, changes made to/on the property after that date will not be considered until the 2010 bill year.
- Please visit the Freqently Asked Questions (FAQs) pages listed in the menu at left for more information.
- All applications for 2009 fee adjustments, exemptions or credits are due on or before July 31.
- Late payment penalties will not be charged on accounts with applications received by the deadline.
- Property owners are solely responsible for ensuring their account(s) remain in good standing.
- We are no longer accepting new applications to adjust or exempt fees for the 2008 billing period.
