AUDREY L. GIBSON
FLORIDA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, DISTRICT 15
Audrey L. Gibson is a native of Jacksonville's northside. She earned her Bachelors in Criminology from Florida State University.
She is the proud mother of an adult daughter, and two sons in college. Her hobbies include sporting events (football and basketball), auto racing, horseback riding, weight training, music and theatre.
During her career, Representative Gibson has worked as Congressional District Administrator and as a Business Community Liaison. Rep. Gibson sits on numerous committees and is affiliated with many cause-worthy organizations, such as Jax Pride; First Coast African American Chamber of Commerce; Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce; Blue Print for Leadership - Class of 1999; Jacksonville Community Council, Inc. (JCCI); Manufacturers North Community Advisory Panel (CAP); Citizens for Tree Protection; the Democratic Executive Committee; Jacksonville Chapter of the Links, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Jacksonville Alumnae Chapter and the Northwest Jacksonville Community Development Corporation.
In her current capacity as State Representative for District 15, she is committed to fighting for her constituents as well as for all people in the State of Florida. Her committees/councils are as follows: Colleges & Universities; Juvenile Justice; Military & Veterans Affairs; State Administration Appropriations and State Administration Council. She was also appointed Democratic Co-Floor Leader.
