Timuquan Preserve

The Timucuan Program began in February 1997 and is a cooperative effort between the city and the National Park Service (NPS). The purpose of this effort is collect water quality data for the surface waters in and adjacent to the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve.

Twelve sampling locations are monitored bi-monthly, the information will be used by the NPS and the city to make land-use decisions in this area of the county. Parameters measured are the same as for the River Run.
