This program examines first response procedures as recommended by the Medical Director of the City of Jacksonville's Emergency Medical Services. Dramatization and step-by-step guidelines demonstrate and thoroughly explain how to handle injured football athletes.

Electricity - The Hidden Danger
Actual stock footage, mock scenarios and re-enactment's show the many dangers firefighters and rescue personnel face when responding to incidents involving electricity. Steuart Tank Farm Fires
Relying on sheer determination, skill, dedication and a little help from a unique extinguishing method, Jacksonville's Fire and Rescue professionals successfully forced into submission a four alarm blazing inferno fueled by over two million gallons of gasoline. This award winning video documents the historic five-day battle, complete with actual incident footage and interviews with the firefighters on the front line.

Decontamination - The Right Way
With the proliferation of hazardous material incidents throughout our country, proper decontamination methodology has become a vital concern for all emergency responders. This program shows the right way to decontaminate an area, demonstrating established NFPA and step by step guidelines.

Air Transport Units - Standard Operating Procedures
In critical situations, helicopters quickly transport patients to hospitals. The use of such transport is governed, however, by a vast array of specific guidelines and special considerations, which could lead to disaster when not followed. This program illustrates the key elements of helicopter transport, from dispatch to landing zone and loading procedures, using actual stock footage, graphics and scenario dramatizations.

25th Anniversary of Jacksonville's Rescue Service

Charity Boxing Event
Participation in charitable causes and events is nothing new to firefighters worldwide, and Jacksonville's finest are no exception. Each year, the Guns 'N' Hoses charity boxing event between the city's firefighters and police officers draws thousands of rabid spectators and tens of thousands of dollars worth in contributions. The excitement generated by the inaugural event and exceeded during the smash sequel performance in March 2000 are authentically captured in this action-packed tape series. Original composition written by Brian Cox of Nashville, Tennessee, and set to dramatic video footage from our award winning fire and rescue documentation library, this video is truly an emblematic depiction of courage in our profession! Adopted by the IAFF Fallen Firefighter Memorial in Colorado Springs as the official tribute video, presented every September during Fallen Firefighter ceremonies, this video is a moving tribute to all who have ever served in Public Safety. The proceeds from the $15 fee go straight to the IAFF/FFM in support of our fallen comrades.
