These organizations provide persons living with HIV/AIDS who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless with short-term rent, mortgage and utility assistance.

River Region Human Services : (904) 899-6300
St. John's Horizon House : (904) 899-6300

River Region provides residential treatment services to homeless, substance abusing people with HIV/AIDS.  In addition, they will provide transitional housing for people with a history of substance abuse and mental illness at the Adult Living Facility and permanent supportive housing for homeless people with HIV/AIDS through St. John's Horizon House.

Lutheran Social Services : (904) 448-5995
Lutheran Social Services provides a mechanism for HIV+ people seeking housing to match up with people seeking one or more housemates.  In addition, they provide accessible emergency housing for women (and their children) infected with HIV/AIDS and assist them with developing independent living skills.  The TRAIN program assists HIV/AIDS infected men and women who have recently been released from jail and who are homeless with transitional housing and supportive services.

Gateway provides one bed for medical detoxification and one bed for residential treatment services for people living with HIV/AIDS and in need of substance abuse services.

I.M. Sulzbacher Center : (904) 359-0937 x288
The I.M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless provides rent and utility assistance to homeless HIV/AIDS infected persons who have been incarcerated and assigns a supportive living coach to each participant to assist them in maintaining a healthy lifestyle through the Scattered Emergency Apartment (SEA) program.
