JHRC and the Department of Children and Families Diversity Counsel have partnered to create employee focused Study Circles.

The objective is to help improve race relations and racial equity within the DCF organization.

The first Study Circle was attended by members of the DCF Diversity Counsel, employees, and management and included individuals of African American, European, Caribbean, Asian, and multi-racial descent.

The agency plans to offer additional Study Circles and train key staff to facilitate future Circles with logistical support from JHRC.
