  • You have the right to withdraw your Charge at any time.

  • You may request a "Right to Sue" if the JHRC has not completed the investigation within 240 days.

  • If the JHRC determines that there was no violation of employment laws, you will be notified and the charge closed and forwarded to the EEOC for acceptance.  EEOC will forward you a "Right to Sue" upon their acceptance of JHRC's decision.

  • If you are not satisfied with the conclusions drawn from the investigation, you may appeal the JHRC's decision in your case by writing the:

  • Your written request for an Appeal ("Substantial Weight Review") must be made within 15 days after receiving a final closure letter from the JHRC.
