
Do you know someone who has advanced or made a difference in Jacksonville's film and television industry? The 2009 Jacksonville Film & Television Industry Award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions resulting in a significant impact on the film and television industry. This Award will be presented at the annual industry reception in October. Nominations for this year's award closed on Aug. 1.

HOW TO NOMINATE SOMEONE
A written nomination form must be completed for each nominee and will kept on file in the JEDC Film & Television Office. Click here to fill out a nomination form.
CRITERIA/ELIGIBILITY
This award symbolizes the epitome of service to the film and television industry. Nominees should be committed to the film & television industry and exhibit exemplary professionalism, creativity, resourcefulness and tangible results, actively participating over a number of years. Elected or paid city employees should only be considered under special circumstances.
AWARD SELECTION COMMITTEE
The Award Selection Committee shall be composed of at least one past chairman of the Mayor's Film & Television Advisory Board and other board members appointed by the current chairman. The committee will be staffed by the Director of the Film Office. This committee will make its recommendation to the entire board for a final vote.
