David was elected to the Advisory Committee filling one of two vacant positions. He received his minimum standards, EMT, and AA degree in Fire Science from FCCJ along with a Fire Officer 1 certificate from Florida State Fire College. He joined the Fire/Rescue Department in 1996 and soon thereafter received his Paramedic certification. He was promoted to Firefighter Engineer in January, 2004.
