Golfair Boulevard / Moncrief Area Corridor Study

The purpose of the October 2008 study was to explore the possibility of creating a catalyst for neighborhood revitalization by using an existing community asset, The First Tee of Jacksonville, to brand the area as a golf community. The City of Jacksonville, in partnership with the First Tee of Jacksonville, conducted a visioning workshop that included community stakeholders. This workshop, facilitated by FLAGG Design Studio, LLC, enabled its community leaders and interested citizens to voice their concerns for the existing conditions along Golfair Boulevard from the Moncrief Road intersection east to the eastern side of the Interstate 95 intersection and to be an integral part of the solution to visually improve the corridor.

The following is a link to the Golfair Boulevard / Moncrief Corridor Study (1201k).
