Building Inspection Divison Relocation

As of April 23rd 2007, several city offices moved from the City Hall Annex on Bay Street to the Ed Ball Building at 214 N. Hogan St.  (Map)

The offices involved in this move are:

Building Inspection Division/Building Code Enforcement
Zoning/Zoning Code Enforcement.
Concurrency
Development Management Group
Fire Marshal's office of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department
Tax Collector's satellite office
Addressing section of the Planning & Development Department

Additionally, the Planning and Development Department's Addressing Section, previously on the fourth floor of the Florida Theater Building, has moved to the Ed Ball Building.

The following offices will be located on the FIRST FLOOR of the Ed Ball Building:

  • Zoning Code Enforcement
  • Building Code Enforcement
  • Addressing

These offices will be located on the SECOND FLOOR of the Ed Ball Building:

  • Building Inspection Division
  • Zoning
  • Concurrency
  • Development Management Group
  • Fire Marshal
  • Tax Collector's satellite office
