The Industrial Technical Advisory Committee (ITAC) is a seven member board, consisting of property owners, home builders, developers and representatives from the industrial business community in the City of Jacksonville. ITAC is responsible for reviewing and making advisory recommendations concerning proposed land use changes and rezonings in the Areas of Situational Compatibility and Industrial Sanctuaries as identified on the Industrial Preservation Map. ITAC will also review proposed changes to the Zoning Code that relate to the Areas of Situational Compatibility and Industrial Sanctuaries. ITAC strives to serve as a forum for discussions between property owners, home builders, developers and the industrial business community.

Review and make recommendations to the Planning and Development Department concerning text changes to the Comprehensive Plan and proposed changes to the Zoning Code which relate to the in the Areas of Situational Compatibility and Industrial Sanctuaries as set forth in Subpart N, Part 3, Chapter 656, Ordinance Code. (c). Review and make recommendations to the City Council as to the creation or expansion of Areas of Situational Compatibility and Industrial Sanctuaries.
