David was elected to the Advisory Committee filling one of two vacant positions in 2006. He received his minimum standards, EMT, and AA degree in Fire Science from FCCJ along with a Fire Officer 1 certificate from Florida State Fire College. He joined the Fire/Rescue Department in 1996 and soon thereafter received his Paramedic certification. He was promoted to Firefighter Engineer in January, 2004, and is currently serving as a Fire/Rescue Lieutenant.
