Deputy Executive Director - Asst. Administrator

Dick has served as Deputy Executive Director - Assistant Administrator since joining the Fund in 1998.
He previously served as the Treasurer for the City of Jacksonville. As such, he was also statutorily designated as the Fund Treasurer for both the Police and Fire Pension Fund and the General Employees Pension Fund. Prior to his retirement from the City of Jacksonville, Dick was with the City's Consolidated Government for almost 25 years, serving in a variety of positions including that of Principal Internal Auditor, Deputy Director of Finance and Interim Director of Finance. He has earned both a B.A. and a M.B.A. from the University of North Florida and is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Government Finance Officer, Certified Retirement Administrator, and Certified Retirement Counselor. Mr. Cohee also has worked for the Duval County School Board and the Federal Reserve Bank before coming to the City and is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also currently serving on the Board of Directors and is a Past President of the City of Jacksonville Retired Employees Association. He was recently elected to serve as the Retired Employee Trustee for the Jacksonville General Employees Pension Plan commencing in June, 2007.
