Very Important Information for All Exemption Types

You can file for exemptions year-round.  There are three filing periods.  You must make a timely first application!

On-Time filing for exemption for the Current Tax Year:
Jan. 1 to March 1.

Late Filing for exemption for the Current Tax Year:
March 2 to the 25th day* following the mailing of the Notice of Proposed Property Taxes (TRIM).

Early Filing for exemption for the Next Tax Year:
March 2 to Dec. 31.

For more information on filing for an exemption, please choose the exemption you are interested in, from the listing to the left.

* The deadline for filing late is set by law, on or before the 25th day following the mailing of the Notice of Proposed Property Taxes (TRIM).   This date usually falls in early September. You may call or e-mail our office to confirm the deadline date. 904-630-2020, pacustserv@coj.net

Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
