Electronic Wastes

Computers and monitors pile up during an e-waste collection.Electronic Wastes:  The City of Jacksonville encourages the recycling of electronic wastes.  Electronic wastes (E-waste) are accepted Tuesday through Saturday at the City's Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility located at 2675 Commonwealth Avenue.  Additionally, E-waste is accepted at all of our HHW remote collection events.

If you are unable to deliver your E-waste to the city HHW facility or one of the remote events, these items will be collected as part of our normal garbage collection service.  However once these items enter the waste stream with your normal garbage they cannot be recycled and are disposed of in the landfill.

Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.  The facility is closed on Sunday.  For more information, call (904) 387-8847.

Mobile Collection Events
Our Mobile Collection Events have been expanded to include the collection of electronic wastes (e-wastes).  Each event is open to all Duval County residents.  For more information, call (904) 387-8847.

Please continue to refer to this site for the dates, times and locations of future events.
