Transportation for Senior Citizens

Photo of program participants boarding one of the senior transportation vehicles.There is daily transportation, Monday through Friday, available to 19 Community and Senior Centers that provide congregate meals and other services and activities for citizens 60 years of age or older. From the Centers, other trips are offered for shopping and field trips to various locations and activities throughout the city. The Jacksonville Transportation Authority, JTA, offers free transit service to persons 60 years of age or older with a Transit Identification Card.  The ID card may be obtained at the Mary L. Singleton Senior Center at 150 E. First St., Jacksonville, Fl 32206 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 2 – 4 p.m.
