The Department of Health funds the Ryan White Part B HIV Care Consortia to act in an advisory capacity to the department for the purpose of planning and prioritizing the service needs of individuals infected with HIV as well providing a forum for the infected and affected community, service providers, community based organizations and other interested individuals.

The purpose of a consortium is to plan, develop and deliver comprehensive outpatient health and support services to meet the identified need of individuals with HIV disease within the specified geographic areas.

Membership on an HIV Care Consortia is open to all interested individuals and participation by persons with HIV is particularly encouraged.
