Volunteer Programs

Master Food and Nutrition Education program (MFNE)  These trained volunteers provide leadership and service to their community in food and nutrition activities.

Home and Community Educators program (HCE)  It's main aim and objectives are to train women and men to be wise, astute consumers and home managers and be leaders in their club groups and communities.

Children and Literacy (CAL)  These trained volunteers read to children, between the ages of 3-8, to improve literacy skills and develop the love of reading.

Family Treasures: Creating Strong Families
Family Treasures is a 3-part educational program for the whole family, based at sites throughout the community.  These free, interactive programs are led by volunteers.  Families will experience the six qualities of strong families (commitment to each other, enjoyable time together, successful management of stress and crisis, positive communication, spiritual well-being, and appreciation and affection for each other) through fun activities together.
