JaxParks has 34 pools open to the public. The Cecil Aquatics Center is an indoor facility open year-round. JaxParks' other 33 pools are outdoor facilities open during the warmer months.

JaxParks Outdoor Pool Schedule for summer 2008:
Pre-Season: May 24 to June 1-- weekends only
Season: June 7 to Aug. 15 -- seven days a week
Post-Season: Aug. 16 to Aug. 31-- weekends only

Saturdays: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sundays: 1 - 6 p.m.
Monday - Friday (June 9 to Aug. 15)
  open swim:  1 - 6 p.m.
  swim team:  6 - 7 p.m.
  family swim: 7 - 8 p.m.

*Holiday hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Memorial Day - May 26
Fourth of July - July 4

Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Closed daily, 2 - 3 p.m.

Recreational Swim Team
Our recreational swim team is offered at selected neighborhood pools and is free!  Boys and girls ages 5 - 14 are eligible to participate. Competitions include a district swim meet and a city-wide competition. For more information, please contact our Aquatics Office at 745-9630.
