Recreational Swim Teams—Summer 2009
Each of our city pools offers a recreational swim team during the summer for children ages 5 to 14. Practices begin Monday, June 9, and are from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday. Each team will schedule meets with other area pools on Saturday mornings. The season will culminate with a District meet and the City Championship in early August. There is no cost for this program.
Participants may download a registration form and can take the form to register at the pool of their choice beginning May 24. We do NOT take registration forms at the aquatics office. Swim Team registration form. (PDF 20K)
Swim Team Stroke Clinics: Spring 2009
Be a stronger and more knowledgeable swimmer! Clinic participants will receive in-depth instruction in stroke technique, including starts and turns. Common stroke infractions will be analyzed and corrected. Dates and locations to be announced.
