Public Swimming Pools 
The City of Jacksonville has 33 pools open to the public. Swim season runs late spring through late summer.

Cecil Aquatics Center 
The Cecil Aquatics Center is located at the Cecil Recreation Complex in Jacksonville's Westside. The indoor facility has an Olympic-size pool and an instructional pool, and open year-round.

Learn to Swim Programs
JaxParks offers a series of swim lessons for youth and adults. Classes are offered at JaxParks public swimming pools.

Important Water Safety Tips
JaxParks Aquatics Office provides safe and fun programs in our public pools and oceanfront parks. Activities range from swim lessons for all ages to aqua aerobics to family water safety month. Keep reading for all the exciting details.

Stroke Clinic
JaxParks Aquatics Office and Cecil Aquatics Center is offering stroke clinics to help swimmers improve stroke techniques. Clinics are offered 7 - 8 p.m. Fridays, June 19 - July 10. Fee is $40 per session. Select locations. Link to registration form for stroke clinic.

Junior Lifeguard Camp 
This unique aquatics program teaches children ages 11 - 14 water safety and rescue techniques. The camp is offered at at the Cecil Aquatic Center (West Jacksonville).

Oceanfront Parks
If the waves are more your style, JaxParks invites you to visit Hanna Park and Huguenot Park, the city's two oceanfront facilities. JFRD lifeguards are on duty only during the summer swim season.
