Kids Kampus offers structured recreation and education group programming during the school year. Topics are listed below.  Groups must make reservations to participate in Kids Kampus educational programs. Call 630-KIDS (5437)

9:45 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday - Thursday

  • Bubblocity (Grades K-5)
    Learn about scientific principles such as surface tension and the visible light spectrum and create art work through the use of bubbles.  
  • Creepy Crawly (Grades K-5)
    Do worms have tongues? How do bugs see? Your students will be able to answer all of these questions once they embark on the insect safari that is part of this cool adventure into a bug's world. 
  • Do You See What Eye See (Grades 2 - 5)
    Seeing isn't always believing; students will learn in this dynamic program of study on how the human eye works, and how our eyes can be tricked to see things that may not be present.  
  • Here Comes the Sun (Grades 3 - 5)
    Students will cruise through this solar powered learning experience, this is a great companion to solar system studies.
  • History of Jacksonville (Grades 2 - 5)
    From dinosaurs to the big fire, students will discover that our city has been a fascinating location for millions of years.
  • It's In the Air (Grades K - 5)
    Students will enjoy a live, interactive performance that will help them understand Bernoulli's Principle.
  • Magical Magnets (Grades 2 - 5)
    Young minds are "magnetically" drawn to the basic scientific principals of magnetism and how it affects the world they live in.
  • Mystery of Navigation (Grades K - 5)
    Children can experience the intriquing secrets of magnetic north and the workings of a compass through hands-on activities
  • Water Cycle (Grades K - 5)
    Participants will delight in this fun, dynamic, physical study of the water cycle. 
  • Safe City (Grades K - 5)
    What better way for youngsters to learn to be safe than through fun, hands-on activities that teach them traffic, fire and helmet safety.
