Located on the south bank of the St. Johns River, the 36-acre Arlington Lions Club Park is an ideal location for visitors who love the water. A paved path leads to the river's edge where it connects with a boardwalk linking this park to Blue Cypress Park less than a mile away. In addition, a separate nature path winds its way through the cool woods for approximately three-fourths of a mile.
Arlington Lions Club Park is the site of an excellent boat ramp.
At the boat ramp, you'll find a manatee exhibit which describes this peaceful creature and the important efforts to protect it. With covered picnic areas and a playground, this park has something for everyone.
Park hours: Sunrise until sunset.
Admission is free.
