JaxParks Summer Camp Programs
JaxParks Summer Camp offer activities and experiences for all interests. Programs include Summer Enrichment Camp, Teen Power, Kids Camp, Art Camp, Kidz Creationz, Performing Arts, Florida Outback, Fitness Camp, Outdoor Sports and Fitness Camp, Sports, Nature and Fitness Camp, Youth Basketball Camp, Youth Volleyball Camp, Youth Soccer Camp, Surf and Sandcastle Camp, Junior Lifeguard Camp, and Junior Tennis Camp.
| ________________________________ | Summer Camp Enrichment - various locations $50 per two-week session, $10 for extended day. Ages 6 - 12; *13 - 15 Participants may enjoy a wide variety of activities including sports, arts and crafts, swimming, board games and field trips. Camp hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended day avaiable from 7 - 8 a.m. and 5 - 6 p.m. Teen camp for 13 - 15 year olds will be offered at Emmett Reed Center.
| ________________________________ | JaxParks Teen Power - various locations $10 per two-week session. Teens ages 13 through 15 may take part in the JaxParks Teen Power Junior Counselor Program, where they are exposed to job skills, responsibility and networking. Teen Power participants are selected through an interview process. All participants must apply online. Please check back for the date online applications will be available. Requests for an interview will be fowarded to the camp director. If selected following the interview, participant's parents may then pay applicable fees.

Kennedy Center, 1133 Ionia St., 630-0933 $50 per two-week session, $10 extended day; ages 4 - 5 The younger ones will enjoy this camp with loads of activities for active bodies and inquisitive minds. NOTE: Campers who attended this camp in 2008 and have turned six-years-old may pre-register at one of JaxParks' other camps for ages 6 - 12.
| ________________________________ | Art Camp - Murray Hill Art Center, 4327 Kerle St. $50 per two-week session, extended day not available. Youth are introduced to multi-art mediums such as clay works, painting, drawing and printing paper materials. Three sessions offer art experiences for different age groups.

$50 per two-week session; $10 for extended day.Ages 6 - 12 Participants are exposed to a variety of creative activities to engage their creative side. Arts, crafts, photography and multi-media creations, and field trips are all part of the fun.

$150 per one-week session Ages 8 - 15 will develop surfing techniques, study ocean and beach life, participate in strength training and flexibilty activities assocated with surfing techniques, meet the local surf community and learn about careers in the surfing industry. Camp hours are 8 a.m - noon.

$150 per two-week session, $25 for extended day. Ages 11 - 14 will engage in activities to develop teamwork, self-respect, responsibility, leadership and professionalism while learning environmental sciences and emergency skills. Program hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with extended day available 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.

Junior Junior Tennis Camp - Boone Tennis Complex, 3700 Park St., 384-8687 Southside Tennis Complex, 1539 Hendricks Ave., 399-1761
$20 per student per four-day session. Ages 7 - 13 will engage in instructional activities for beginning and advanced-beginning skill level. Participants will develop motor skills and become familiar with the rules of short and full court play. Registration for Junior Tennis Camp begins 9 a.m., May 19. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
