Thank you to the thousands of jazz fans who attended the 2009 Jacksonville Jazz Festival! Attendees braved the rain to experience renowned jazz performances and activities along the Laura Street Corridor, The Jacksonville Landing, Hemming Plaza, Snyder Memorial Church, the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts, downtown businesses and vacant buildings.
This FREE festival was transformed into a vibrant setting with multiple stages of entertainment, Art in the Heart Downtown Art Show & Sale, Wine Down Tasting Experience, Generation Next Youth Talent Competition, children's educational activities, jazz exhibits and movies. Other festival highlights includes the Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition, 'Round Midnight Jazz Jam, Jazz Talk, CHOPS Documentary and Sunday Jazz Brunches.

Admission to the 2009 festival was free but attendees also had the opportunity to purchase Experience Jazz packages for all festival days to limited, preferred seating near the performances (first come, first served) and many other festival perks.
