Amelia Island State Park enchants visitors with one of the most scenic shorelines in north Florida. Located where Nassau Sound meets the Atlantic Ocean, the park protects more than 200 acres of unspoiled wilderness including its beautiful beaches, salt marshes and coastal maritime forests. It also offers visitors incredible recreational opportunities, including horseback riding, a 45-minute riding tour through the forest and along the coast and excellent fishing spots. Fishermen can surf fish along the shoreline or cast into the water from the mile-long George Crady Bridge Fishing Pier which spans Nassau Sound.
