Visitors standing atop the 20-foot bluffs at Big Talbot Island will experience a breathtaking offers glimpse of shoreline unlike any other in Florida.  A trail invites park guests to stroll along the shore among  the massive skeletons of live oak and cedar trees that once thrived near the ocean.

Primarily a natural preserve, Big Talbot Island is a premiere location for nature study, bird-watching and photography.  A boat ramp located on the estuarine side of the island provides visitors access to fishing and salt marshes. The bluffs make the perfect spot for picnics, trails offer views of the park's many diverse habitats, and waterways invite canoe and kayak enthusiast to travel their paths.
