Come out to Betz-Tiger Point Preserve on Oct. 24, and enjoy free, fun activities as we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Preservation Project Jacksonville. Test your knowledge of parks, nature and the cultural history of Northeast Florida while paddling the calm waters of Pumpkin Hill Creek during our Kayak Quest. Learn about significant natural and cultural resources in and around the park during interpretive walks and talks led by environmental educators.During the celebration, JaxParks will recognize the winners of the PPJ 10-Year Anniversary Photography Contest, and hold a Ground Breaking Ceremony for the development of recreational amenities including boardwalks, marsh overlooks, restrooms, picnic facilities and trails.

| Kayak Quest |
Test your knowledge by answering questions about parks, nature and waters of Pumpkin Hill Creek. All kayaks for this event, prothe cultural history of Northeast Florida while paddling the calmvided by sponsors Kayak Amelia and Kayak Adventures, will be available first come, first served for activity participants. The activity is free, but registration is required to reserve your participation in the Kayak Quest. Prizes will be awarded to those answering all of the questions correctly. |

| Anniversary Amble |
Join a parks naturalist for a leisurely stroll along Betz-Tiger Point Preserve pathways while exploring Florida's flora and fauna. Wear closed-toe shoes, dress for the weather, and bring insect repellant and water. All programs last approximately 45 minutes. |
