A Cormorant in a dead tree at Tiger Point preserve.The Waterfront Management and Programming Division operates nature preserves and parks, offers environmental education programs and takes the lead in restoring and managing fragile ecosystems.
 
The division operates in a unique partnership with federal, state and private groups to preserve northeast Florida's fragile historic, cultural and environmental wonders.
