Victim:
Clifford T. Backmann
White Male 56 years of age
845 Landreth Road
Green Cove Springs Fl.

 

On 10/10/2009 at approximately 1220 hours, patrol responded to a shooting call at 6960 Bonneval Road.

 

When the officers arrived, they found the victim lying on the ground and unresponsive.

 

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

 

It was determined that the victim had been shot while he was at work.

 

There is no more information available at this time. This is still an ongoing investigation.
