Arrest Fraud Investigation – Anyone whose name was falsely used on a traffic citation or arrest docket has the option of requesting a fraud investigation. If the name was falsely used on a traffic citation, an affidavit must be obtained from the Traffic Violations Bureau. If the name was falsely used on an arrest docket, a computer search is conducted in an attempt to determine a suspect. In both cases, fingerprints are taken and the Identification Unit will make a determination through fingerprint identification. Fingerprint cards are provided at no charge by JSO for fraud investigations.

A request form, including incident (CCR) number must be completed for each of the following requests:

Crime scene photos will not be released without the approval of the detective assigned to the case.
