Click It or Ticket Statewide Safety Belt  Campaign

Tuesday, May 22, 2007 Jacksonville, Fla.    

On May 22 the Florida Department of Transportation and Jacksonville area law enforcement agencies announced the beginning of Click It or Ticket, a statewide enforcement initiative surrounding one of the deadliest holidays of the Year- Memorial Day weekend. In an effort to increase safety belt usage among Florida motorists during this time, state and local agencies will conduct heightened enforcement activities from May 21 to June 3, 2007.
