As a part of June's Ceremony, Jacksonville Fire/Rescue Department (JFRD)  Public Information Officer Tom Francis made good on his bet with Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) PIO Ken Jefferson to "Kiss a Pig" when  the JFRD lost the 9th Annual Gun's N' Hoses held March 10.

For the third year in a row the Fraternal Order of Police fighters were victorious.  

Guns N' Hoses has a history of successful fundraising in Jacksonville and has raised over one-half million-dollars for the FOP Foundation and IAFF (International Association of Fire Fighters) charities in its first eight years.  During the ceremony, the FOP presented the Police Athletic League with a portion of the proceeds from the 2007 fight night.
