The Fraternal Order of Police charity boxing tournament, Guns N' Hoses was held on March 10, 2007 at the Veterans Memorial Arena.

This years event raised more than $100,000 for the FOP Charitable Foundation and had a record breaking attendance of near 8000 spectators.

Guns N' Hoses has a history of successful fundraising in Jacksonville and has raised over one-half million-dollars for FOP and IAFF(International Association of Fire Fighters) charities in its first eight years.

"The FOP fighters were victorious again this year," says Robbie Freitas, Event Coordinator.

"For the last two years the JSO team defeated the IAFF team but before that the firefighters dominated with 4 out 6 wins and 2 draws. The fighters take the event seriously, train hard and enjoy a bit of rivalry as well," Freitas continues.
