Police Officer of the Month Travis D. Oliver

Detective Travis D. Oliver is September's Police Officer of the Month because of the investigative techniques he used while assigned to the Aggravated Battery Unit. Travis made solid prosecutable cases out of difficult circumstances.

Corrections Officer of the Month
Marva Lucas

Corrections Officer of the Month is Marva Lucas, from the Pre-Trial Detention Facility, is our September recipient because of the outstanding searching techniques she displayed to control the introduction of contraband in the PTDF.

Civilian of the Month Brandi S. Morgan

Police Services Technician I, Brandi S. Morgan, of the Validations Unit, was honored as the Civilian of the Month because she is dedicated to improving the processes of the unit.

Reserve Officer of the Month
George W. Dandelake III

George W. Dandelake III is the Reserve Officer of the Month for September because of the excellent way he assisted the police officers working the Wednesday night, April 19, 2007 police involved shooting at University Christian School.

Corrections Sergeant of the Month
Richard A. Robinson

Corrections Sergeant Richard A. Robinson is the Corrections Supervisor of the Month because regardless of the obstacles placed in front of him, Richard adapts, overcomes and does his job with  GREAT enthusiasm.

Six Pillars of Character recipient Corrections Officer Joann Glenn

Corrections Officer Joann Glenn is the Six Pillars award recipient. Joann is being honored today for the caring and compassion that she demonstrated to the family of Christopher Barrios.
