09/27/2007 Light the Night Walk

On September 27, 2007 Team JSO participated in the Annual Light the Night Walk for the North Florida Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Team JSO gathered at the Riverplace Towers to participate in the two mile walk that included the Acosta Bridge and the Main Street Bridge.

The walkers carried either red illuminated balloons to show their support for the fundraising event or white balloons to signify they were a blood cancer survivor.

Since 1999, JSO participated in the Light the Night Walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Although it is too soon to know the total of this years' donation, last year JSO employees raised more than $5200 in basket and t-shirt sales for Light the Night.
