Crime Prevention Walks are designed to give the Sheriff and police officers a chance to visit with citizens in Jacksonville neighborhoods.

Citizens are encouraged to discuss crime prevention and strategies to keep their homes and property safe.

The walks are also an opportunity for police officers and citizens to get to know each other.

JSO Community Affairs offers a variety of crime prevention programs and services to meet your crime prevention needs. Community Affairs endeavors to control crime and the fear of crime through various methods involving citizens, community groups, civil agencies, criminal justice agencies, and the environment.
