Sheriff's Meritorious Awards Ceremony April 2008

Jan. 31, 2007, Zone 2 Sheriff's Walk

Sheriff John H. Rutherford, Assistant Chief Carson Tranquille, patrol officers from Zone 2, Community Affairs Coordinator Gary Dickinson and various ShAdCo members participated in the Zone 2, Sector D Crime Prevention Walk on Jan. 31, 2007

The Crime Prevention Walk started in the Town & Country Shopping Center and progressed north to the business district in old Arlington.

Business owners and residents were encouraged to reach out to the Sheriff and community leaders to discuss grass roots crime prevention strategies.

Sheriff's Walks are intended to give residents the opportunity to talk with the Sheriff and their Zone Commander about concerns.
