Scope of Work:
The Jacksonville Journey in conjunction with the Department of Recreation and Community Services is seeking proposals from organizations with a minimum of two years documented experience in providing community services and community programs to assume the operation of the Intramural Sports League. Adapting this cooperative arrangement will allow the City, through partnerships, to continue providing services to the teens of Jacksonville and lowering crime rates.

The Jacksonville Journey, in conjunction with the Department of Recreation and Community Services is seeking proposals from private 501(c)(3) not-for-profit or 501(c)(3) faith-based organizations with a minimum of two (2) years' documented experience in providing community services and community programs to construct, under a funding agreement, and manage, under a license agreement, a community center at Panama Park, located at 6912 Buffalo Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32208.

Title: TEAM UP After School Programs for the Jacksonville Journey

SCOPE OF WORK:
The Jacksonville Children's Commission is soliciting applications from private non profits, and/or faith based organizations with at least two years of experience in the operation of school based or community based after school programs to operate TEAM UP after school programs for the Jacksonville Journey at nine (9) Elementary Schools, and seven (7) Middle Schools in the Jacksonville area. Each applicant must explicitly indentify the after school program(s) that they are interested in serving. Target Population: Low-income, academically challenged students attending sixteen (16) Duval County Schools.

Title: Early Learning Program for the Jacksonville Journey

SCOPE OF WORK:
To provide coaching services to 25 child care centers in Zone 1 including participating in Quality Rating and Improvement System, career path scholarships and opportunities, wage incentives, curriculum development and environmental support and materials.
Provide mental health consultation process to the other coached centers in Health Zone 1 (zip codes: 32202, 32204, 32206, 32208, 32209, and 32254) and the additional 25 centers involving the families and center in the social and emotional wellbeing of the child.

SCOPE OF WORK:
The Jacksonville Children's Commission is soliciting applications from governmental entities and private non profits, and/or faith based organizations with at least two (2) years of experience operating juvenile justice/young offenders intervention-re-entry programs.
Target Population: Duval County juveniles, 15-18 years of age who have entered the Juvenile Justice System and/or young adults 18-24 who are inmates of the Duval County Jail or Correctional System.

Title: Out of School Suspension for the Jacksonville Journey

SCOPE OF WORK:
Applications are being requested from Educational Institutions, private non-profit and/or faith-based organizations with a current 501(c)(3) status. Applicants also must have at least two (2) years of experience operating successful suspension or truancy program.
To create a new Out of School Suspension Program (OSSP) at five (5) designated sites in Duval County. This program will serve approximately 150 students/per day (30 students per site).

Seeking proposals from 501c(3) not-for-profit organizations qualified to provide community programs to surrounding neighborhoods by assuming the operation of one or more of the following facilities: Beachwood Community Center, Fort Caroline Community Center, Joe James Community Center, Lillian Saunders Community Center, Sunny Acres Community Center and, Westbrook Community Center. The organization must have been established for a minimum of two years and be financially stable and able to take over the entire operation of the center, including initial renovations, ongoing operational programming costs, staffing, and maintenance and repair of the facility.
