The City of Jacksonville Military Affairs and Veterans Department, with support from the Disabled Services Division, will honor Duval County disabled Veterans by providing up to two tickets each to the Jacksonville Jaguars' Military Appreciation Game on November 12th. Additionally, there will be a pre-game recognition for some distinguished local Veterans on the field.

Citizens needing assistance in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma can visit a City of Jacksonville Disaster Registration site taking place at the San Marco Library (1513 LaSalle St. - 32207), Thursday – Saturday.

Reconnection Workshops are held in small groups and facilitated by licensed, trained Red Cross mental health professionals to help service members reconnect with their families and reintegrate into civilian life. The workshops are confidential and free of charge.

The City of Jacksonville Veterans Day Parade presented by The Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A. is quickly approaching! The annual tradition is designed to honor, remember and express gratitude for veterans of the past and present. The City of Jacksonville will present a float in the parade to spotlight current employees who are veterans, active-duty, retired or reserved military and their families.
