Office of the City Council Auditor

The Office of the Council Auditor (CAO) was created pursuant to Section 5.10 of the City's Charter in 1968. Since that time, the Office of the Council Auditor has remained an active participant in city government and serves as the 'watchdog' for the residents of Jacksonville.

The current Council Auditor is Kirk Sherman.
