LOUD: Leaders of United Diversity. LOUD members serve as teen OneJax ambassadors and initiate programs and activities at their schools to promote the values of inclusion and the bridging of cultures for the common good.

The University of North Florida participates in Florida's First Generation Matching Grant Program. More than 300 UNF students were awarded First Generation scholarships in 2006, thanks to UNF fundraising efforts and an appropriation from the Florida Legislature.

(www.nefloridacounts.org), a free, online health resource for the region, and its partners will award a total of four one-year, non-renewable scholarships to help defer educational costs for a period of one year’s matriculation at an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Two scholarships will be awarded in each category: high school and college.

The Jacksonville Jaycees provides training in business leadership through projects that serviced the community. The Jaycees are organized into four portfolio areas each with their own focus: Community Development is charged with improving life for the citizens of Jacksonville. Individual Development focuses on helping the individual with their own personal growth. Membership development and Management Development focuses on the sales and managing the business operations of the chapter itself. Their mission is to provide young people the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills through local community service and organizational involvement while expanding the Jaycee movement.
