Waterways Assistant
This is an unpaid volunteer position assisting is the maintenance of public boat ramps, kayak launches, docks and marinas throughout the city. Assistance is also needed for working the docks during special events and football games. Volunteers are also needed to help answer the phones in the days leading up to an event. Work may be performed at any of the city’s public boat ramps but the primary location is Metropolitan Park Marina, 1410 Gator Bowl Blvd.
Qualifications:
- Experience with data entry and spreadsheets
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent customer service skills
